best bang for buck mod questions...

I'm new to the whole viper thing so I have quite a bit to learn.. I bought a 2000 rt/10 and want to do some mods. So far all I have done is smooth tubes with K&N filters. I ordered a random tech exhaust and high flow cats, they came in today and will put them on. What other "bolt ons" can I do to the car to get more power. I don't want nitrous and I don't want to go inside the engine i.e. heads, etcs... Any thoughts???
Thanks.

as far as the first things to do for more power, you have already done then. you could go a number of ways from here. good headers will yield you 20-50 rwhp. match them with a set of good rockers for optimum performance. if you like to feel like it has more power but it actually doesnt, go with a set of gears. other than that a vec2 could be used to optimize the tune for some more ponies.

Vec 1 can be had for about $150-$250. Cheap HP IMO.

1998 to 2002 use really good stock headers from the factory and do not need after markets as much as the '92 to '97's. Those early years use a cast manifolds and can really be helped with the headers.

You've done most of it already. Gears, and lightweight flywheel can change the feel of the car for the better.

Pretty basic sure, but I wouldn't call it junk. Nothing wrong with adding a little fuel to the low end RPM and lean it out at higher RPMs to offset the stock PCM settings.
As far as adding laughing gas to your engine? Not for this guy!
