the price seems high, but these 10-k mile gts are few and far between these days. I do however wish you luck because the car you describe sounds like the one in my garage.
I bought a 98GTS last month on ebay. Red/blk. 14,000 miles for 41,000. Has no nicks or scratches and smell leather still. The tires and battery had also been changed. Was a garaged car and covered car.

You obviosly got a great deal o your car. By continuing to post this you are not helping the Value of your Viper or any of ours
My uncle bought a GTX convertible Hemi back in the 80's. It cost him $500 and 67 GTO. What he paid for that car is irrilevant to it's value now
I think you got a great deal on your car, your lucky I didn't find it because you wouldn't have gotten it that cheap
He got a decent deal. Low 40's for a red 97 with over 10K miles is about right. He got a grand or two off the going price. I sold a 99 with 6K miles for 46. 50 is way high if it isn't blue with white stripes. You don't really think that one guy posting what he paid for a car can change the entire market for said model do you?

I do not think that one guy posting can change the entire market but I think that one guy posting the same thing multiple times over a 2 week period can make potential buyers think that they should be able to buy a perfect car for that price all day long. He got a good deal and I am happy for him I am not trying to single out anyone either. One thing I have noticed about the Viper forums is the owners themselves are the biggest detriment to the cars value. If the guy gets $50K I'm happy as hell. We should ALL be happy. If he is over priced he will find out when he has no takers. It's all about supply and demand.
If someone needs to dump a car that's one thing, but these are limited production cars. I just bought my first Viper and feel like I got a great deal for what it is to me. Trust me...this is the cheapest toy I've looked at in quite awhile.
I think V10kingsnakes comment above is a great comment and perfectly appropriate. It sums up what we all know and hope for
Clearcut, Looks to me buy the 1st 2 post we have bebbmi wanting to know if this is a good price. It seems fair but the POINT is to shop around for the best deal. They aren't ALL on the Alley.

I agree
Definitely has low miles and that is a big selling point for some people, including me.
