Kenny, you know I love ya man but that car sounds like a Top Fueler and makes no power. You weren't perfect but it looked like good driving, the car just didn't go anywhere.

You noticed that, too? I expected what Larry had promised me at the beginning of my $28,000 project - super reliable daily driver, throwing no codes, and at least the high 700's in power. None of those have been met yet. Larry said he would not release my car back to me until it was running right all along, but when I got it back after months of delays on July 1st it was undrivable with extreme surging and bucking as soon as the temperature got above 85 degrees. There is a lot of stuff going on here, but Larry is working slowly on getting my car right. Unfortunately, there is some friction between Larry and myself about his customer service and the amount and type of excuses I've been given about why my car is not right - difference in altitude from Florida to Ohio, $6,500 Striker heads he bought me not being right for the Roe supercharger, his need for me to get $4,500 AEM system to tune my car now (not in any of the estimates until after my car was delivered), etc.
Right now my latest tune from Macedo is quite different - at half throttle in either 3rd or 4th gear it can only get up to 40 MPH with constant backfiring and extreme surging and bucking. I've had this tune for over a week now and can't even think of driving my Viper anywhere. Larry is working on my VEC2 cards and plans on sending them to me on Monday, but he has also told my Viper Tech that he is not allowed to work on my car due to legal reasons and previously refused to return my VEC2 cards to me. I'm totally at Larry's mercy now in getting my car to run right and if he decides to not send me my VEC2 cards or sends me VEC2 cards with a program designed to make my car undrivable, then I'm in a situation like I am now.

That's awful. Sorry to hear that. Start a new thread so I can ask a few questions about $28M MORE, codes, stock trap speeds, $4500 AEM's, drivability, etc.
Dave,
I tried to call you, but I guess the number I have is an old one xxx-xxx-8437. I PMed you my number. Give me a caal if you have a chance. Thanks.
Let me hold off until Larry has either sent me my VEC2 cards back with a drivable program or not. I would like my car made right the way he had promised it would be and I want to give him a chance to keep his reputation before going public like it did at the VCA site. It is almost 2 months since I got a very badly tuned car back and it seems only when it went public at the VCA site did any quicker service by Larry take place, but he also got upset and slowed and stopped service to make my car right, too.

Jesus Kenny. I am really sorry to hear about your situation. Hopefully you guys can get all of this resolved.
Good luck Big Guy. I can't imagine Larry not getting the car right for you. It will take an AEM tuned properly to give you any drivability or you'll have to downsize some equipment I think.

That would not be good since the AEM was never part of the estimates until after it was delivered with the bad tune.
The other major tuners that have talked with me all say the VEC2 can tune my car right and I don't need the AEM.
I would hope Larry justs makes my car right ASAP with no more delays or excuses so I can brag on him again.
That $4,500 price included installation, tuning, and a VIP discount, but the price was lowered by Larry later on. Even with the price lowered, it is still beyond my budget.
I am aware that there are some real good pricings on the AEM out there, though Titan Motorsports was new to me (thanks) - Import Evolution had a price of $2,425.50 & was the lowest I had found.
Don't be afraid of Titan, they REALLY know EMS's. I'm sure Larry does as well. I'm surprised anybody thinks your combo will run at all without a high-end EMS (like AEM). I would guess $1000 for tuning would be max.
