i believe it just clears the stock hood pad by less than an inch. i know the first run of these blowers had an issue with a portion of the unit rubbing the hood pad but this had been corrected in all but those initial run of blowers. and provided you bought a used roe with the clearance issue, i heard sean was correcting the problem for free.

Not much and it will put a mark in the hood pad at it's highest point. In your signature, you ay you're looking for Gen II TBs? I have some in the classifieds.

Not for me Or maybe it's that I would have to rechrome my tube after the mod.

The rub comes from the bypass hose inlet on the passenger side intake tube right behind the throttle body.
