SRT/10 SIGHTING?

Anyone been cruisin around and seen this monstrosity, EEEERRRRRR, Viper yet? In all seriousness, how does it look up close? I still haven't seen one in person. Anybody have theirs yet?

I saw it at VOI. It just looked big and blah. The SAME in pics as in person. I havnet seen it on the road yet though.

I saw one at the NHRA race in Chicago last fall. Dodge had the SRT-10, and a competition coupe on display. The coupe looks pretty cool in person. I can't say the same for the SRT-10. I think it looks like a cross between a Sebring and a Camaro convertible. The one thing I feel is that when I look at either, I just don't think Viper. They just don't have the uniqueness of in your face styling the Gen I/II's did.

I have a really good feeling about the GTS. I don't see how they could go wrong with that.

A lot of people think the same thing! It's weird how the CC can look so incredible! I mean I didn't wanna even leave the Auto Show when I 1st saw it. Took a million pics and I thought I was gonna be the 1st one in my group to have it. Then came the SRT/10?? I originally thought that the CC was going to be our "new" Viper. Not so.

Yeah, I know what you mean. It was the same at the race. Peple were crowded around the Comp Coupe, while the SRT was sitting there, not getting much attention comparably.

The best part was when they fired the CC up and ran it down the track for the pre race sponsor introductions. They really didn't get on it, but it still sounded and looked sweet going through the gears.

I saw 10 down at Bill Luke Dodge they look ok sure isn't as nice as the RT10
I like the original look a lot better.

I saw it at the NY International Auto Show a few months back and it did nothing for me... Very UN-Viperlike.

Not sure, some guy over on .org posted that he took it there after he picked it up from Woodhouse. Probably just getting exhaust and other basic things first off.

You're exactly right. I do remember that thread where he discussed the breaking in of the car and then drove it there. Definitely not a local.

I understand they look pretty good in person. I would expect to see one on the road anytime soon. Can't be more than 50 released as of yet and most are being resold!
