I recently aquired a 1994 Venom 500 from a dealer with 2900 miles on it. Unfortunately they did not have any info on what was modified by Hennessey. I called Hennessey performance and e mailed them with no luck. Does any one know what was modified on this car back in 94 to make it a Venom 500? Thanks for the help.
I think Hennessey just upgrades the blinker fluid and modifies the kanuter valve springs. Somehow he finds a way to squeze mad power out of that. At least thats what I've been told.
Hm never knew he did a yellow 95 RT. On a Gen 1 venom 500 package you'll find intake, headers, plugs, wires, exhaust, possible TB upgrade and maybe some tuning. Thats about it
Like said before John is on here a fair amount so a PM should catch him.
Ed is right, exhaust, wires, and smooth tubes, No T/B upgrade as you would actually lose Hp doing that with out other modifications. PM your VIN to John he is on these boards.

I think he has a very rare yellow 94.................
Thanks for the help guys. I sent John a Pm but no responce yet. I was told this is a very rare car indeed, as a total af around 84 yellow Rt's were built is 94. I know it has K&N's and smooth tubes. It doesn't look like it has headers, but it is hard to tell thinks are so tight in there and the heat shield covers every thing. It does appear what is there is made of cast iron. Thanks for any and all the help.

The biggest criticism of a stock Dodge Viper is its lack of aural authority. Even with 488 cubic-inches thumping away underhood, the tenor of the exhaust note is more anonymous than intimidating. To add some growl, as well as reduce back pressure, Hennessey's chief engineer, Robin St. John, developed a 3.0-inch diameter stainless steel exhaust system, replacing everything aft of the catalytic converters. The factory side pipe coverings remain in place, and the look of the car isn't altered. Hennessey claims a 35-horsepower increase, and the exhaust spits out a more defiant attitude (though the inherent flatness of the V-10's tone will never let it sound like a healthy V-8.) Air management continues with the installation of Hennessey's Hi-Flow air-induction kit (filters and silicone hoses), enlarged throttle bodies (by 5 millimeters), Hi-Flow intake manifold (enlarged ports; port-matched to cylinder heads), ported and polished cylinder heads (raises compression ratio from 9:1 to 10:1), and 1.7:1 stainless steel roller rocker arms (replacing the stock 1.6:1 stamped steel rockers). Add a set of hardened steel pushrods and adjustable guide plates, plus a set of platinum- tip spark plugs (one heat range colder than stock) and 8-millimeter silicone plug wires (2 millimeters larger for lower energy loss), and you have the bundle of goodies constituting Hennessey's Venom 500 engine package.

I love it when somebody has the correct info!
You would get a pat on the back if the info was correct
My Venom 500 (which I have the paperwork on and have torn apart) did not have intake or head work nor any aftermarket roller rockers.
Mine was headers, exhaust with shortened (high flow) cats, larger throttle bodies, 3.55 gear, filters, shifter, some changes to the pcm, floor mats and badging. That is what was on the paperwork and matches the mods that were done.
Possible that a gen 1 had the other work ?? Could be.
