temp at 250 / car sitting all night and cold
Temp gauge is pegged at above 250, car has been sitting all night in air conditioned garage.

Engine is cool to the touch and the fluid is cool.

Started it up and the temp is at 250, even reads this way if I turn the key forward to the on position.

Any thoughts ??
0 clue on this.

Sounds like a bad guage or temp sensor

It does sound like a temp sensor...often times factory one's arent as good as they claim...hell mine stays in the middle no matter what (not a Viper, but still)
