What An Improvement!!

Well after having my 2000GTS for a year and a half i finally got around to installing some mods. I put k&N filters, smooth tubes, plugs, borla headers, high flow 3" cats and B&B cat back. I can't believe how much easier this car is to work on then my vette. Everything went on without any problems, and i didn't have to fabriate anything. I didn't even run into any problems with the headers. It definalty feels stronger, and sounds great. I'm kicking myslef for waiting this long to get this car to sound as bad ass as it looks! I also disconnected the skip shift while i was under there. I am thinking about going to the track tonight and seeing if i can beat my stock baseline ( 12.1 @ 118 ) but its about 100 here today in Richmond so i'm not expecting too much. Now that i've started i have been thinking about changing brake pads, mine squeek and put out alot of dust even with only 7k, what are the best pads for a street viper ?

Chris

Congrats, I just underwent similar changes after having mine for 1.5 years. I've had the mods sitting around for about a year. I added headers, cat delete pipes, and catback.

I still have to get the VEC II and T&D roller rockers put on.

I have EBC greens on the front and they do dust less but most saythey don't stop as well as the stock pads. I've found most here prefer the stock pads for street Vipers.

congrats on your new mods.
