Parted ways with the '01 GTS sapphire

Hey folks, for a few reasons I decided to put my GTS up for sale. Hats off to ViperAlley - I put the ad for my GTS in the Classifieds, and started getting serious calls immediately. The first guy that called me ended up coming from Indianapolis to get the car yesterday.

I'll be back in a Viper when I get some other things sorted out. Next time around though, I'm going to get one with some miles on it, and maybe an imperfection or two. Buying a Viper that I wasn't going to drive wasn't one of the smartest things I've done this year. Don't count me out yet - Just taking a little break.

And also, be advised that the GTS market is still very strong for low mileage perfect condition cars. Out of respect for the new buyer, I won't mention what I got for the car. It was so close to my asking price, I'm convinced the market is there. I had two other buyers willing to send the money sight unseen if the first buyer fell through. So nearly $60K for an '01 GTS doesn't seem that far off base apparently.

Sounds great congratulations on the sale.
I am selling my red 01 GTS ($49,500) Several callers just not a buyer yet.
I am sure the color of yours helped.

So you ended up selling it. Good luck with everything and you better be back in a Viper soon.
