Striped, painted?

Were any of the stripes that came on vipers painted on? I saw a red/silver yesterday and they were vinyl. I thought that the factory stripes were painted?

I just bought a final edition red/white and was curious what to expect when it comes off the truck.

they all are painted. If they are vinyl then someone put them on.

Painted, but they are over the clear coat giving them an "edge" feel. There were never any vinyl stripes on the GTS's

96 GTS were under the clear. Dodge then found out how much it was costing to do the stripes this way and changed to a single stage ontop of the clear.. also why dodge never did another year where the stripes went through the liscense plate area.....
