I let my battery die the other night by leaving the interior lights on (damn me). The batter is now fully charged, however the motor will not turn over. My volt gauge reads a little over 12.
Do you think it might be a dead cell? I would hate to think that by leaving a light on that the battery would just die for good.
It is a 96 GTS.
DW you around?
Any advice?

Disconnect positive terminal for a few minutes, reconnect, you can test it by the fobs on the doors, it will be fine.
Mine has done this a handfull of times now, only when setting alarm...
I don't set the alarm any longer.
Even though had the the 'brain' replaced and wiring harness ..$$$.
I always keep a 5/8 inch wrench in the console just incase.
Sad, but has come in handy and gives me some piece of mind, and WORKS.
DW explained that I just needed to push the throttle when I tried to start the car (prime it). After it turned over and started, I needed to keep the throttle around 1,500 rpms until the computer resets. This can take awhile.
