Viper headlight question. What's this?
Can anyone tell me what the purpose of this tube in the headlight of a Viper is?
My guess is that it's got something to do with the alignment of the lights, but what exactly does it do?

Don't let these guy fool you, they are holographic projectors.
They can project false images of your car to help you get away from "The Man".
Lethal GTS I believe most if not all cars have them but most of the time you must open the hood to see them.

Perhaps it's a common thing on cars in the US, but I've never seen it over here in the Netherlands and I still don't have a clue what it is.
So, although the answers are amusing so far, some serious ones would be nice

They are levels used in adjusting the height of the headlight beam.

Yup. Notice the little "bubble" on the inside.

Yes it is a level. Levels are common on newer car headlights. Open the hood on most cars and you can find them. The Viper differs as it is visible from the outside.
