Mod advice needed

Picking up a 2001 RT/10, bone stock, and would like to know what changes that I can make that will not affect the value of the car? I know that the exhaust needs to be addressed, smooth tubes, air filter...but which would should I go?

Been told that the exhaust is a must to try to cool things down, so are high flow cats in order (which ones)? Which cat back exhaust...Corsa or Borla? I want to keep the car as close to original as possible...but address the needs of the engine and to try to keep some of the heat problems (such as the paint on the dorr sills turning color).

Anyone in the Chicago area that can recommend a good shop for the xhaust install?

I have recently purchased a 2000 GTS, bone stock. Im in the process of making some mods as well, heres what Ive decide to go with:

1) Corsa exhaust. After going back and forth between Borla and Corsa, I decided I would rather have that low, exotic exhaust than the mucle car growl Borla has. Go to corsa's website and you can hear what the corsa sounds like on a viper, pretty cool.

2) K&N intake...pretty standard.

3) Headers, dont know yet which ones but will decide soon.

Exterior/interior Mods:

1) www.mgtltd.com hooked me up with a short shifter that IS A MUST, if nothing else...get this...big difference in feel.. I also got all their little knobs, and ashtray...very classy stuff that accents the rather bland interior of our cars.

2) www.theviperstore.com. I got the crome intake pipes and valve covers for the engine as well ass the crome engine strips and oil cap, lookes very nice and easy to install, bit pricy but worth every penny especially if your showing off your engine to folks.

3) Im also in the process of getting 8" black racing stripes.....

4) Roof scoop, black rims w/red lip, blackout headlights and fog lamps

5) also in the market for a pair of fuzzy dice, but im not sure yet, ive been going back and forth, should decide soon, does anyone have a pic of their fuzzy dice? please post them as I can use some help in making my final decision

I will be going with the random tech hi-flow cats, and the B&B exhaust as recommended by someone on the board. Seems everyone does the Corsa, and negatives to going with the B&B?

If anyone needs Hennessy headers or Mopar Performance 1.7 roller rockers, I have some for sale in the classifieds. I will do a package deal of $2200 for both. Headers are used, but in great condition and the Mopar rockers are new in the box.
