While looking around at my last monthly Viper meeting I noticed a lot of Vipers, (I'd guess 40%) have big gaps where the front bumper meets the hood. One of mine has the problem, and one of mine fits perfect. Anyone know how to fix it? I live in CA, and I don't know anyone who can fix it. I'd even be willing to drive out of state to find someone that knows how to fix it. My viper tech tried, but to no avail. Thanks!!!

Send a picture. Could be latches/bumpers adjustments or a little more complicted. I have one and don't care about it.

I had oversized gaps that bugged the shit out of me too, but fixed them with a combination of lowering the rubber bumpers and latching mechanism. Got it down to about 3/8" both sides which is good. That may be all it takes.

my gaps were perfect till i got the fascia painted. now the front edge at the fascia is wide. its making me crazy. im gonna be taking the hood off this winter when i do the paxton, so then im gonna replace the hood hinge assy and realign it.

i hear the hinge thing is like $350

9 times out of 10, it ISN'T the hood. It's the fascia shimming. It is a 2 man job to get it right.
