VEC 1 Install

Ok, I bought a VEC 1 and it will be here tomorrow. I plan on installing it over the weekend and would like to hear any pointers. Sean was nice enough to send me the schematic so I have an idea of what I am in for. Any advice on the actual install or the tuning portion would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

The instructions that Sean provides are more than enough. Its not hard at all.

One pointer that might help: take the driver's side seat out first. Because its a bitch to do the wiring under the dash with the seat in.

Thanks! I got the VEC1 today and I looked over the instructions...sheesh, easy stuff.

Did anybody solder their connections? Also, I was wondering if it is possible to install the thing upright in the ash tray?

Definately soder...you don't want the car mysteriously cutting off in 5 o'clock traffic ...not fun

And I don't think you can do the ashtray unless you cut the metal and mount it to the tranny
