so I was all into mustangs. Ive always been into vipers... this guy is just rediculous and im glad im not associated with this forum any longer. Someone stated that this 1174rwhp tt cobra (corrected from 6000+ft alt to sea level) would spank 1200rwhp vipers... read on and let me know what you guys think.

I know we have a tough crowd here, I cant wait to see what you say about these assclowns... especially faststang (its called gears, 800hp supercharged cobra will beat 1200rwhp viper, its called lag)... what a dumbass

It's called turbo lag! Area under the curve!? What does that mean? If I have the gears setup right all I need is 2000rpm of "area under the curve" just under redline. Pull like a frieght train.. who cares about what it does at 1000rpm I can dump the clutch at whatever rpm I want or just plainly downshift and I'm into power and as long as it hooks, I win, all other things being equal.

Not only that but when is the last time ANYBODY drag raced and let her go from idle (1000rpm)!? Anybody? I would love to hear a Viper do that and beat a Mustang.

Hey Hey now, theres nothing wrong with Mustangs. I own a 91 Mustang GT that will spank alot of Vipers, thats why i made some modifications to my Viper and now even though the Mustang runs in the 10's the Viper is still faster

I couldnt own a viper that was slower than my stang lol. I love them equally but i must say the Viper gets most of my attention and money, especially lately lol. Theres just something about my mustang i love, could be i've had it for over 8 years?

I know a fact that mike p with smaller turbos than mine (57 vs 67's) and a lesser fuel sys (not return style) with a solid rear runs 9.40's with a stock long block.

I know that car and it is impressive. Im not saying cobras are slow by any means but compare even that car to a 1200rwhp viper and its no contest. That is the fastest TT 03 cobra to date with the stock tranny... I think a few vipers have gone a bit faster than 9's even, lol.

Im not saying they are slow, I had a kenne bell/n20 cobra making 735hp-855tq and it was fast. I got a ride in JD's CPE TT viper at low boost and I nearly shat myself. My car was shit compared to the viper, hands down. Any car I ride in now is slow because that viper really ruined it for me

I gotta say you have to compare apples to apples

I own both tt's and I think that from a money standpoint to make a race car its easier and faster to do up a cobra.

For a super car a tt srt is the only way to fly.

Mikes cobra has a stock block!!! with 0 internals with a guessstamake of 18K in mods running low 9's

I don't think that we can do that with vipers.

also he maybe dethroned soon. I am in the process of getting 67's with a good IRS setup.

Mustang owners think they own the world

I had a guy argue with me that his 11 second stang would walk my GTS on the highway and the drag strip even having 250 h.p. less than the snake.

Anyone can own a Mustang. How many of those guys fall asleep at night wishing their dicks were larger and they then drove a more respected car?
