Aftermarket GTS seats

As many of you know, I am getting ready to start a little GTS project. I really do not like the seats in these cars, but was a huge fan of the GT3 seats in my old car.

Would the following dimensions fit in the GTS?

Also, if anyone else is running different seats, please let me know.

From everything I have read, it sounds like aftermarket seats in a GTS is a bitch. Either trimming the door panel or trimming the seat itself, no real direct bolt-ins without drama of some sort.

I have seen Sparco Corsas before, and they seem to fit. I am going to try to compare the two size wise. Anyone else have any experience with this?

Gen III seats will fit , but I think they will have to be bolted in place without the rails for moving forward and back.

Gen III seats, much larger, much heavier, sit higher. Can move but only forward and only for midgets in that case.

GenIII's are pretty much out of the question. They are pretty damn big seats. I love the look and feel of the GT3 seats, but I do not know if they will fit.

I am going to try to get some measurements off of the Sparco Corsa's that I know fit, and see if they are close in size.

Sparco Pro2000 does not fit across the shoulders. I sawed half the left shoulder wing off mine to make it manageable but it still rubbed the door panel a bit.

Its the shoulder span that's tricky. The bottom part fit fine, and I put it on sliders for full up/back movement.

Ask Hennessey. He's put plenty of aftermarket seats in his cars with the full-out head-to-toe venom packages.
