After market Head Unit for Gen I

Anything special, or do most single din decks work? I really like the g force indicater on the caddy and Kenwood just came out with a deck that basically does everying one of those G-force meters does (HP/tourque/1/4 time, g's).

Anyway, I want to swap it out. But places like crutchfield and best buy, etc have no info on the Gen I's and cant confirm it will work, or any other aftermarket deck will work for that matter.

thanks!

So after reviewing the search engine, I still don't see a clear answer if you can simply swap out your head unit.

I have a kenwood touch screen dvd system in my Gen 1 with no problem. It was an easy install.
