What's fair market for an 02 graphite/slvr stripes
Hey guys I may have just bought another Vip. it's an 02 graphite with silver stripes 1 owner, all books including window sticker and video tape? It has 21k miles. what is fair on this car (in case I can't keep it and have to sell)

I would say mid 50's. The grapite/silver GTS's normally tend to go higher than most others.

I love that combo too. It is by far my favorite, which is bad because when I am ready to buy one, it will be one of the most expensive
Mileage is high, but i'd say it'll do $53k or so.

My guess would be $50-53K. The mileage is high. It is not a bad thing with regards to the condition of the car, just that there are a lot of similar year/model cars out there with less mileage. For some reason, once a Viper hits 10K miles, the value drops.
The condition of the car makes all the difference. If the car is exceptionally clean and has documented maintenance logs, the car would be worth more that $53K in my opinion.
For what it's worth I have seen Vipers with 30K miles that are in far better shape than a comparable model with less than 2K miles.
Coming from the supra world it is so funny how we all (me included) figure a viper w/ 21k miles is a high mileage unit LOL. Any other car would be considered brand new with that kind of mileage (exc. true non reliable exotics) I have a friend who has I think 67k on his viper and has had no issues. Anyway the car is around 52.5 plus the haul, so I think I'm o.k. on the price range. It's not like they made alot in this color combo. I'll get some pics up soon as I get it. Thanks again everyone. If anyone is interested in the car p.m. me I think I'm gonna keep the built car cause I prob. wouldn't drive this one any more than my 98 with 5k miles.

as a guide, an 02 with less than 5K miles sold at dealer auction in PA for 56K Figure that car has 3K in profit in it which would put your car in the low 50's due to milage. I think 56K for that GTS at wholesale is high.
[IMG][/IMG]OMG! I think this car was jacked up and left running in the garage for 20k miles LOL! I just got it yesterday and I'm def not dissapointed. Heres some pics I got today. It still has powertrain warranty till 2010. and bumper to bumper for another few days. (it was purchased new 6-13-03) should I extend the warranty if I keep or sell it?

I just bought a 10k mile extremely clean car as well.
My questions.
a- are you going to drive it or feel guilty putting miles on it?
b- will you feel 'guilty' making any sort of mods to that level car ?
I am grappling with that now.. Clean car, but damnit life is too short, have to drive it and want to mod it...
