Was the cockpit tonneau cover a gen1 option?
I bought a '94 and am interested in the cockpit tonneau cover that snaps in when parked. The previous onwner didn't supply one.
The owners' manual suggests it was supplied, was it an option?
Anyhow, what does it look like/made of?
Where can I get one?
How much?
THX.

there were zero options aside from color. The snaps are there for the rear window. The tonneau cover is made out of the same stuff as a boat cover and was a mopar accessory.

Wasn't Air Conditioning a $1200 option?

from what I recall it was factory issue on 94's. Could have been an option on early cars.

The tonneau was standard. A/C became an option starting in mid 1993. It was a dealer installed option earlier.

Still on last years gas if that tells you anything. We are expanding the biz a little. It's been the spring of paint, drywall and wires.

Tonneu covers were standard equipment. They were held in place differently over the years, so try hard to find one from the year yours was built. BTW, they work pretty nice in the winter with the top off.
