How much does the VCA pay Herbert and why are they covering it up?

I'm a bit annoyed that someone from the VCA came on here and suggested that I had lied when I let the cat out of the bag about Jay being paid by the VCA. This has been going on for years and for someone from the VCA to suggest I was misleading people is unacceptible.

So, Mr. VCA, just how much are you paying Mr. Herbert and how much has he been paid in total out of VCA funds. Surely you've been able to ask for the copies of the 1099s by now.

whatever they are paying him, its a waste of membership funds. there has to be several other vca members who are far more qualified to manage the website and who would do it for free and not use the website for their own personal gain like jay does.

All of the officers are volunteers and as far as I know, Jay is the only individual to pull some kind of salary. I think its time for the VCA to come clean on who is getting paid what and stop buring it under "misc web expenses (backups, etc)".

The VCA might not want to admit it, but they've got a guy pulling money from the members and they're covering it up.

Weather it's being paid direct from the VCA or skimmed off the money coming into the website, that's for them to tell us; either way Jay should be getting 1099s from the VCA for the income and for a VCA officer to come on this site and suggest I am lying without even making the simple call to the VCA Treasurer to see how much those 1099s are for is bullshit.

Supposedly, Jay "Ned Flanders" Herbert is being paid $37K a year to manage the VCA website and the integrated hosting that is available for all regions to use to manage their own websites. His hosting service was so bad our region ended up registering and hosting our domain ourselves as have a few other regions (the SoCal region comes to mind).

So if Jay sold the Viper Club website to the VCA about 4 years ago then he may have already been paid almost $150k?

Can former VCA members file a class action lawsuit to retroactively get their dues monies paid back?

I probably paid part of the $150k to Herbert and that really makes me sick.

Total retards. They're not aware that the services Neddy provides are available with far superior quality and much less cost from others. Take it for what it's worth - I haven't personally seen any of the checks going to Mr Herbert, but I've heard this from more than one VCA official with knowlege of the situation.
