Lots of 8.xx . Winner ran 8.52@154 on his last pass. high MPH was 166 (same as Chad last year, yah?) . seems that vipers would have kicked some @SS if they made it. Apparently PGD's had trouble getting 32 cars to make the tree. lots of dead cars from Thurs night.
What is that, six 25 lb bottles? Surely they are not all hooked up.
I'm sure they are. After the first pass, they can no longer open or close bottles, so I'm thinking he made sure there would be no shortage. Plus, he probably uses some for heat management.
the best mph was 162.5 from the blue firebird, hes a local here. He said he only ran 166 in testing. Also, he had 11 nitrous bottles in that car, lmao.
his post
"Here's a pic of all the stuff we had to carry for the cruise. We had to do a 25 mile cruise in rush hour traffic that lasted almost an hour and a half. Also, you had to carry all nitrous bottles, tools, etc that you needed to race with. We brought 11 bottles, generator, battery charger, tools, compressor, etc. That thing was loaded!"

I don't know about this one Joe. When has a high powered
(1200+ hp) Viper EVER gone head to head rounds at a race anywhere and held together? Most of the time they have been like bottle rockets. Light the fuse watch them burn to a record and tow them back to the shop for extensive repairs. The high powered Vipers have yet to establish themselves as a threat in a real drag racing venue.

They usually break several times before setting the record also, some break several times and never set any records.
