Very nice! Are they taller than the stock valve covers?

That is sweet, but if you're using the 1.7 rockers do they hit the baffles or are there baffles?

The internal height is based on custom order, so if you have1:7 rockers can we move the baffels up a bit to clear. I'f you have longer valves and high lift camshaft can we ad height to the whole valve cover.

Wasn't a company on the m.Orgue peddling billet aluminum valve covers a couple of years ago... for the $1500 range?

It just seems insane to charge $1500 for valve covers.. billet or not.

Very nice looking though!

If you can spend $50.000 + on the internals, why not let it look good?

We're using tool aluminum, this is no cheap shit you get from other vendors. If you want the best there is...no substitut for...

Why would you spend 50K on internals? I just had a custom big bore small block V8 built (custom 1 off block), good to 1200hp (custom coated piston, forged rods, custom cam, etc.). ..not bulshit parts. It cost me $7,500 incl. build price. The build quality was outstanding. The same guy, a Mopar specialist will also do my Viper when its time. I'm not going to quote his price, but lets just say it aint to much more than the Chevy. I know most guys will say you get what you pay for..well this same shop builds motors for Nascar, Chrysler, and dozens of local 7 and 8 second race cars. He has a 2 month backlog even in the summer time and yet his prices are still reasonable.
Viper guys seem to be conditioned to paying exhorbitant prices. Some have even defended the high prices...oh well. Most have no idea what thins cost. The Viper motor is nothing but an aluminum truck motor. Hell even the heads are nothing special. I about laughed my ass off when I saw both the LPE twin turbo and the HPE twin turbo and their prices. I just can't see how some of those guys can look people in the face and say that will be $120K please. I worked hard to make the money that I do only to just GIVE it way without doing my research. Bottom line...the Valve covers are awesome...but $1,500 ...well good luck selling a few. Pricing them better would get you quite a few more sales...which may not be your goal. I mean no offense to any of the Vendors on this board...just making a few observations.

As you write Earl, our goal is not to mass produce. We'we done them for our own needs. If some one want's what we use in our show Cars and in our race cars, the we are willing to share. If you understood how much time it takes to 3D the covers and model them to perfection, even you would say we are cheap...

About the engines, if you want average performance, you are perfectly right...if you want or need to stretch the limits you are all wrong.
