odd you guys didnt opt for 1 throttle body using what looks like an intake that combines into one large opening.

Super Stock Eliminator (NHRA) don't allow you to use anything else then stock carburators or TBO:s...
This class have many technical limitations...that is what makes it fun and interesting. Free camshaft, valvetraing and intake, all other parts to OEM specs.
