Does the GTS look better with or without stripes?

Self explanatory title. I am on the fence about getting some stripes on my viper. I like both looks..............need something to push me over the edge one way or another

Thoughts opinions on stripes or without would be great. Also, where one can purchase a quality stripe kit.

i like stripes on the GTS. Red with silver stripes is the best combo I think. But, if it's a black GTS, I like it solid.

What kind of stripes are you thinking about (painted vs. vinyl)?

If I did something like black stripes or something I would do painted, if I did silver or white I would probably go vinyl.

If you do decide to stripe...I agree with Gary - get silver stripes...

Yeah..............I was really busy today and didn't remember until I finally took a breath on my ride home. Figured better late than never right?

EDIT: Who is the guy from the morgue who has black stripes on his red viper? Can someone post some pics of it? I did a search over there and was unsuccessful when putting in black stripes or red with black stripes in the search

Tony (ViperMad) Rickart has a red with black stripes car. He also has the Hennessey fascia and wing. He's got a bunch of pictures posted over there.

Silver or white are the way to go with red IMO.
'breaks' up the car...
Very few cars can pull it off ( GT, Viper, old Cobras) and not too many others.

I've been looking at purchasing a viper for a while now and for me the stripes make the car IMO. It makes the car look much more aggressive and "exotic" and i will be definatly be purchasing a viper WITH stripes.

But as stated above, its almost a 50/50 mix of people who like it and those who dont. Red with silver stripes is the best combo in your case.

Some people are into stripes, others are not, do what you want to do. I'm not into stripes, though Black with Red Stripes, Red with Black Stripes, Red with Silver Stripes, or Graphite with Silver Stripes, look pretty good.

I had vinyl black stripes on my 94

Bought some vinyl from a local sign maker and made them myself. The wife and I put them on. In the process of painting and I'm going to put them back on. I will never have a viper without them. Just painted a club members yellow RT and put stripes on that one also,,,,,,,, The "bumble" is AWESUM!!!!!

Wouldn't that lower the value because it isn't factory paint?
