Dyno Results - 2002 GTS - Mustang Dyno

Cross post from the morgue.

Went to the Dyno at Sound Performance in Chicago. They run a Mustang Dyno. Did two pulls, best was 413HP/427TQ. Second pull was 406HP/425TQ. 93 octane pump gas, no real cool down, no tricks, just strap in and make a couple pulls.

As some of you know this is an all stock GTS, no tubes or filters and 20k miles.

Thoughts?

Nice numbers
That specific dyno reads very close to a Dynojet (like within a couple percent). but if you did a roll speed run (i.e. instead of using a spark plug wire pickup you set the computer to the wheel speed at 3000rpm) then it will read a couple hp low.

HP looks right on, but the torque reading is lower than expected.

Do you have any other car's data to compare to?
I did a pull in a 99 C5 on a Mustang dyno a few years back and it spat out numbers that were wayyy too optimistic.

Is the consensus that it would be higher or lower? I thought Mustangs typically dyno lower or if the firmware is updated on the rig then it would be comparable to the Dynojets'.

for rough reference my '03 lightning dyno'd on a dynojet at 423 rwhp, next day went to this exact dyno almost same weather conditions and dyno'd at 421 (couldn't get a tq on the dyno that day due to a bad connection). So its pretty dang close.

That is my buddy's dyno, Lar at Sound Performance. It is calibrated to read just like a dynojet, your numbers would be almost identical on a dynojet.

Good rwhp numbers, my 02 GTS stock dynoed 399 rwhp and 443 rwtq.

I just ran our donor Viper on our Dynojet and it put down 408hp and 451tq. Just did one pull.
