Hard Top for Gen. II
Does anyone have any information about the hard top made to fold-up and store in your trunk. I cannot find anyone who owns one or has first hand knowledge about it. It's sold at
www.trunktop.citymaker.com
I want to know if this is a great product or junk, it's price is not cheep.

It took me about 6 weeks to get it and I loved it for the few weeks I had it. I got a hair up my ass and bought a 2006 Coupe and sold the Gen II.
I didn't notice any air leaks but it does rattle and I assume it is not totally water tight but can't say for sure.
I'd highly recommend it.

The big thing i'm worried about is; does/did it scratch the paint at all?

No it does not. I'm not sure what paint you are worried about though.

It looks like it butts right up against the painted "hoop", and if it rattles I would think it might start rubbing away at it.

I can't picture where it comes in contact with any paint.
If you are referring to where it mounts in the back, there is weather stripping between the top and the sport bar.

Ah, ok. I wasn't exactly sure how it fitted on there. Thanks.
