Could Sun Ra Kat Need a New Plate????
Took a trip down to M2 yesterday to see Larry Macedo. First, let me say the place is totally first class. Larry showed a friend and I around the shop and discussed future plans with my SRT. I stumbled across this yellow GTS.....recognized the license plate from a mile away. Here you go Kenny....eat your heart out!!!! Better submit the form now to the BMV so you have the plates in time for Spring!!! :thumb:

Re: Could Sun Ra Kat Need a New Plate????
Kenny came up with his number the old fashioned way, he guessed.
sun ra kat was a music group early 60's if I remember right.
His car will be fast with those new heads from Jeff, he will be the man in southern Ohio.
Chad, what the hell were you doing at larry's. The bug got to you too?

Tony I was in the area for business.....broke away for a few hours and went to see him. Trying to decide whether to go TT or Paxton. Larry had a car there that was a twin to yours....with NOS of course!!! It was pretty sweet.

Kenny is a hell of a great guy...
The best race I ever had was against him at the V10 Nats / National Trail, 2004...
I lost...but it was a race I will never forget...

Re: Could Sun Ra Kat Need a New Plate????
Some cutting edge technology going on at Macedo Motorsports on my Viper.
Hence, the term Larry Macedo's Skunkworks .
I told Larry that I wanted daily driver reliability to be the number one goal, and I also would like a little bit more power...
Let's say forged pistons are moving into my engine where stock piston used to be for starters.
Plus my stock heads will be for sale...
And a lot of other Macedo magic is happening to the EAKMOBILE, too.
Expecting flying down around March and driving it very carefully home.
I will have to learn how to drive it all over again - slowly and carefully.

Install pistons with the motor in the car?
Jeff Morey's heads with a Roe Blower?
Interesting.

Chad, where do you see that they are installing the pistons with the motor in the car?
What's wrong with Jeff Morys heads and a Roe blower?

Lots of good Roe blower/JM cylinder head combos come out of Larry's shop.

Re: Could Sun Ra Kat Need a New Plate????
Ya, it's something new we just implemented. Instead of taking the motor out of the car, we just remove the cylinder heads and oil pan, then send the rest of your car to our machine shop. Our machine shop then uses a car rotisserie, saves a lot of time for us these days.
