Before I post all of this stuff on Ebay, I thought I would give the board first dibs at this stuff. Things belong to various VCA members here in the area who decided to clean their garages.
Pair of 17" CCW Wheels with Nitto Drag Radials - Driven to the track, full day of passes, then driven back. 5/32" remaining, not sure what they came with but I'm sure not much more than that. Best offer over $800 + shipping (wheels alone were $700-800, and I believe the tires were $350 each).
Complete set of 4 17" CCW's with Kumho V700's on them. Less than 50 miles driven on them. Tires alone were around $800-900. Wheels were around $1400. Best reasonable offer takes the set.
1 set of NEW stock half-shafts. Not sure what these go for. Best reasonable offer.
7 NEW Mobil 1 oil filters. $11 retail, $8 each if you buy them all.
NON-VIPER STUFF
2 Pirelli PZero Rosso Asimmetrico 245/35/18 tires, 5/32" remaining, one tire has plug.
I'm looking at the tire and wheel and it says Nitto Extreme Drag, 315's. Would that make it a drag radial? If you could look at the Ebay auction and let me know, that would be great. I didn't mean to mislead anyone, just going off of what I was told.
Wheel measures 13", and it looks like it could hold much bigger than the 315 size that is currently on it.
bro, thats what i am saying. the wheel can hold bigger tire in fact the tire that came off was a 335 not a 315 tire. and i wouldnt be caught dead with that tire spinning on a car doing 120-140 mph down the quarter mile. think what would happen if the bead didnt hold when your going full bore in the quarter, bye bye viper! no thanks. call any tire company and ask them if you should mount a 315 on a 13 " rim. most will tell you it either wont work or it aint smart!
OK, I see what you're saying now. I don't drag race, though, so I'm not sure how dangerous it is. All I know is that the guy who owns these tires did several passes just fine, and he has 830rwhp.
The drag radials and halfshafts end on Ebay today, and are at pretty good prices. If I needed the stuff, I'd buy them (I'm posting the parts for a few local VCA members).
The tires are brand new, and were $900 from Tirerack. Mounting and balancing was another $100. The new bidding starts at a reduced price of $999 NO RESERVE, so this would be like getting the wheels for free. These will be a great deal for somebody!
