Newbie with a question

Hey Everyone,

This is my first post and I'm about to buy a 96 GTS. I was wondering if anyone knows how the stripes on a 96 are applied? Are they decals which are then clearcoated or are they painted on right after the blue?

Also, is there anything that can be done to improve the tolerances on the hood/bumper/headlamp gap? Any general advice on buying a 96?

and im sure with a bit of time the gaps can be bettered but that is part of the deal on a viper.

make sure the recalls were done right.

Make sure it is a 96, run the VIN, on a 96 the stripes run through the license plate area. Also, there are some serios TSB's that need to be done. Frame Rail Welding, etc. The gap on the front shouldn't be any worse than approx 5 playing cards thick.
