High Flow Cats

I have a '02 GTS. I just installed a Corsa cat back exhaust which is a huge improvement over the stock exhaust. I now want to put in high flow cats primarily to reduce the heat in the side sills. From the looks of it, it does not appear to be a simple bolt on change or am I wrong. I was looking at the RandomTech 2 1/2 hi flo cats. Do they come with all that is needed to bolt on or does it require cutting and welding?

Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions.

Have a set of straight pipes made to delete the cats altogether.Sounds grat and you pic up some more power. They are about a half hour job to swap out if you want to put cats back on.

I have a set of 3 in HI-FLOW cats I could sell you.(NEW) They will require welding. They will fit in the side sill area.

Re: High Flow Cats

Thanks for the offer guys.
I would love to eliminate the cats all together...but don't want the hassle of switching back and forth for California smog tests.
I was looking at the 3" hi-flow cats till I realized that the inlet and outlet are 2 1/2. My corsa is also 2 1/2 on the inlet.

What I'm trying to find out is if you have to cut the stock cats out and weld in the Hi-flow cats or if you unbolt it before the flex tube and remove that entire assembly. Pictures of the Hi-flow cats look like they are just a short straight piece that welds in.
Thanks.
