rear end problems

I just blew up the rear end in my c6 do you guys ever have any problems with the viper rears once u start modding the car? Just curious how strong the stock set up is or if that is something u guys change out too

"Normally" ours would be halfshafts and u-joints breaking. That said, I have broken internals too.

I thought I read somewhere that viper and new vettes use the same rear end (Dana 44?)
Can anyone confirm?

The Viper uses a Dana Super 44 the Vette uses the normal 44

Many of the vette's change to the viper gear set.

Many Vette owners change to the Viper gear set and the rest of the Viper that comes with it.

i tried to get some of that but i was told that some guy in a srt 10 comes and swoops it up as soon as it gets on the shelf . said it was a black car with LA plates and the guy was walkin funny

anyone know who this might be ?
