Is a dual gauge pod EVER in our future?!

I keep forgetting who has been advertising the R&D for a genII dual pod, but what I havent forgotten is the claim that it is 'a few weeks from completion' for many months now.

Is it that difficult to build this item and get it to production? Anyway, the community could surely use it....

If you are refering to a piller pod, Viper Elite (gone) used to repackage a mustang pod. With a little work it fits perfect. Perhaps someone knows which model mustang the pod was for.

1meansnake is who you're referring too, and the last post I recall he was saying they would be ready this month. The column pods he did seem to have gone over well, so I'd say these will be nice too.

We are still on for having them done this month!!!! Please remember that it is completely out of our hands and in the hands of our manufacturer. Good things come to those who wait

I apologize for the overdue time this has taken, but believe me, in the end it will be well worth the wait !!!!!!!

You are referring to the Autometer dual pod #10100, 79-93 Mustang. I am currently running it in my own 99 ACR. But, it is not perfect, even with substantial trimming and fitting. It is ok enough if you absolutely need a gauge pod but dont care about perfect looking aesthetics. I have a customer that wants/needs the gauge pod but doesnt want me to install this Mustang piece.
1Meansnake- I'm looking forward to the pod!!

Gen3:

You can make it fit perfectly. Drill a hole in the center and use a sheet metal screw to draw it into the post. The post is some form of composite. Use an oval head screw and a trim washer and it looks oem. In a short time the force of the screw molds the pod to the pillar.
