Help diagnose a clunk under acceleration...

I think it's motor mounts, but here's what I get:

In first gear, under heavy acceleration, there's a clunk which feels and sounds like it's coming from the front of the car. It sounds like taking a big chunk of metal and banging it against another big chunk of metal.

It didn't do it yesterday, it does it today - a sudden change.

You can feel the clunk, it's not just a sound.

Car is a 99 ACR with 27k miles. Original motor mounts. Haven't put it up in the air yet.

Thoughts?
