Is there a World record on Drag Radials? How fast have Vipers been on a drag Radial?
Thanks
Garth
Yup "The Chad" has got that one for the V-10... 8.26 @ 176.26 :thumb:
If you also mean an "all out viper" well that would be good 'ol Tony Darwin with his Sir hiss Viper, no it was not a V-10 but WAS a Vin numbered Viper that ran in the 7's with slicks. Actually now that I think about it theres this guy also with a Vin numbered Viper... SLIGHTLY modded
I saw this car on TV once running mid 6's

Chad run that on a drag radial???? Drag Radial Tire. Not ET's or Slicks...
Roll Model is correct. If I remember correctly Chad's car (driven by Heffner) ran MT drag radials at the pump gas drags. As to what the exact record is with an auto or 6 speed, maybe Chad can post more info.
Chads car had an automatic with the drag radials.....not familiar that it has run the six speed and DR's together. Dr. Roof ran a 9.66 on BFG drag radials at Bradenton (I had just built the motor in it ) . To my knowledge that is the record. Prior to that at, the same race Lee Saunders ran a 9.9X and then I ran a 9.85. There may be something else quicker, but I haven't heard of it.
I "think" Chads 8.26 was with the auto and slicks or et streets. They did run a 8.6X on the drag radials, pump gas and automatic. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

Do you really have a clue....or do you just start spewing information for no reason ??? What does Darwin or the promod car have to do with drag radials ?? Where are you getting your info on Chads car ???
Never made any good passes on the radials with the 6-speed but I'm sure they were quicker than 9.66. I'll look it up but I'm thinking 20 or 30 off the top of my head.

Chad, Thanks I am looking for the fastest 6-speed on Drag radials. If you could look up your DR times and post for me... What size Dr were you running?

Now we know who is fastest AND quickest LOL .... anyway, UtahViper went 148.6 on drag radials, Roe blower, no nitrous. That might be the fastest ('cept for Chad)
