Viper head studs and overheating issue? 1996 rt/10

Good afternoon to all - new user here - 1996 rt/10 gen 1 motor. Couple of things I could use some guidance on - first I am replacing the head gaskets with the new multi layered ones. Having trouble locating a stud kit for the heads. ARP has a set for gen II but not gen I. Any one know of another supplier?

Secondly - overheating - I know Im in Phoenix, but the car used to run at 195 and now runs at consistent 220. I did all the burping and all that and still ahve the issue. Will "water wetter" additive make a difference? Will having the new head gaskets reduce seepage and therefore reduce temps? Anything else I should look at?

Thanks to all, and thanks for newbie tolerance....

I would stop driving it if the head gaskets need replacing.

Why stud a stock motor? I would buy new bolts from a dealership. Consult someone like Chuck Tator at Tator's Dodge for gaskets, bolts, etc.

Good luck.

Don't listen to Chad, he doesn't even know where the AEM is located on his own car.

thanks - I have stopped driving it and am changing the gaskets. ARP is making a custom stud kit. the heads were off about .007 of an inch from true, i would suppose due to warpage. The studs should offer a better situation? thanks!
