What the fuck happened to Brian A. and Dansauto? Do the two of you need me to sent some gas money for you to attend the Dec. race? Just for the record Norwalk was the first time I had raced with the new TT. We ran 3 passes at 140 ish MPH all the 60 ft were sucky and my fault. 1.8, 1.8 and 1.7 any real racer know a go 60 of 1.4 and those passes would have been 9.8's (I have had a 1.43 60 ft before) Almost the Gen 1 record right out if the box. That was on 9 lbs of boost alone. no Nos or propane. (FYI the boost goes to 18lbs WAHOO!) What time have you gotten driving YOUR own car Brian? Better practice for Dec. And Dan what' s your time on you DIY TT? Bet you are drooling over how mine looks. I think you are a shit talking pussy Dan. The race in Dec. will tell. PM me about the gas money thing. :fist: :fist: :fist: :fist:
Who are you calling out. You dont know shit about cars. I give you a year and you'll blow up that contraption your driving. Christ you must need two batteries and a 200 amp alternator to run all the electronic pumps. My car dynoed over 650 Hp at 10 hps of boost without any add ons. I lowered the compersion to 8:1, ported the intake and heads, and added straight meth. I have yet to tune it under hi boost 15-20 lbs). Have I confused you yet? Unlike you I am doing this all myself. What will you do if you have to replace the belt? Take it back to Larry? fuck it would take two days to take all that shit off to find it. I am more impressed with Hennesys and Heffners clean set ups that look stock and have more Hp than that thing your driving. I am impressed however that Larry is using the AEM on GEN1's
I have respect for anyone that tries their own TT, but you are making an ass out of yourself talking shit on Larry's setup. Everyone and anyone that has seen it has said it was a nice piece of work and clearly efficient.
Its not a foot well setup so of coarse the plumping is going to look different.
I am not saying its not creative and well thought out. Where are the turbos if not down low? I suspect Stain wanted more and the only way to get it was add the nos. I think larry could have used larger turbos and achieved the same results. As far as water cooled innercooling, neat as it looks, I dont think it is the most efficent way unless you are running ice for a one shot race. anyway, my intentions are not to flame Larry by anymeans. He is an accomplished tuner and has my respect. I Just want to shut up the blowhard that started this thread.
I understand you and Stain have some history, but I took your thread as a bash toward Larry. My mistake.
The turbos are mounted up front, and believe me, they are big. The car makes HUGE power with just the turbo's, and the added nitrous is not necessary but that was what Stain wanted. On boost alone they can not keep this car from spinning on the dyno. This was also done on a lower boost setting.
As far as the water/air cooling, the AEM only shows an increase of 10 degrees in temps. Larry himself can elaborate on this. I don't want to give any incorrect info.
This car has more than enough power, Stain just needs more seat time do be able to use it all. They only ran 9lbs at Nowalk, the car goes to 18lbs.
DEATH I am the:grim: Oh I am sorry Chad for starting shit about your business and business practices and truly did not mean to cause you any harm. I know that you cut me a deal on everything being as you considered me a friend and that I am greatful for. Please forgive me for I am a dumbass

Jay Leno aka(yellowstain) glad you made it back from Ohio. Take some of that plumbing you stole out of your apts. and put it back. Your tenants are calling and want to take showers. No need for the gas money however, if you want to send certified funds I figure it will cost around 1,000 to fill the motorhome and pull the trailer. Your doing well running in Vern's shoes though. You've already ran in the 10's, got 15 power adders, and broke down. Man that's impressive. I know woulda, coulda, shoulda, If and When, low boost, too much boost, yada yada yada.
Oh yea what is the code for the Krylon paint code for that shit on your dash? I kinda like the two-toned look you got going on there. You know where the yellow on the inside doesn't match the yellow on the outside..... Are you the one who stole my jeep wrangler windows??? I swore the ones on your car look just like them. Oh well, one things for sure when I get to Bradenton you better have that kit car tuned and ready your gonna need MORE than mid 10's, TT, 6 bottles of Nos, BBQ grill propane tank, stickers and a yellow dash. YOu'll see soon enough. See you girls in Bradenton :fist:
Hard to tell the boost comes on so fast it burns the tire off. The clutch I was using was good for 1000 hp but shit the bed on the road when Larry and I rolled into on the first stage if Nos at 3000 rpm in third gear on street tires. We went racing in Norwalk with a stock clutch and after 3 passes it shit the bed. 5 lbs made 800hp ish and 900 tq ish after that it I would be guessing. Are you gong in Dec.?
Dan you were supposed to be there in Norwalk, what happened. 650 at 10 lbs WOW impressive! Could have made that on heads and cam. PM me for the gas money. Oh and Brain talk about Nos don't you have like a 400 shot with your SC set up? See you in Dec. Chad you want to continue this topic open forum style? I had hope that since now you have seen the problems for yourself, last Wed. you were wanting to correct them. Please PM me your address. If your require the addition few hundred dollars or so for ( a discount refund ) I have money just let me know. Standing bye for your address information. This does not have to get nasty. I believed that when you were here we are all in agreement about the fix. Call me if needed. Thanking you in advance.
You windbag, Do you want me to post the efficency curves of the toy turbos you have? I dont need 5 other poweradders to make up for too small of a turbo. It would not matter if I did you couldnt understand them anyway. BTY I never said I was going to Norwalk. I asked you to come closer to PA. I tore my car apart and added the items above. I have no dynod it since. I would like you to bring your car up my way, we will run them and dyno them and see what your really does with boost only.
I thought the yellow Gen I has 76mm turbos, a stroker motor and made 800+ rwhp and more tq on 5 lbs. It should be physically impossible to run in the 130's with that power, even in a Gen I tank.

That power is in the 150 mph range.
I heard from a good source he is running 03/04 hybreds, isn't that what they use on single turbo Hayabusa's?

Computer programmers use an acronym for this type of problem--PEBKAC (problem exists between keyboard and chair). I suppose PEBSWAS isn't as catchy though.
Great job Ian. Giving those clowns mis-information and watching it come back as fact. I still like the way Danauto believe that air to water is the wrong way to go. I guess that is why car have radiators with coolant in them and not cooling fins like a 37 hp VW. These people, with their fucked up theories and opinions. But that is what makes America great, stupid people being allowed to share their stupid thoughts and ideas. Hey where is Brian Anderson? I have not received any response form my offer of gas money from either of these players. Word
