I have personally done business and talked with Peter and I know he is a good guy. I'd let him watch my kids! Although he did back out of one deal we had..........he did say he would give me a ride in his beast of a supra and then sold it on me However........a ride in his TT viper and all will be forgiven

I would like to have a couple pints with anyone from this site. Don't let the border nazis discourage you, 9/11 changed things a little.

I just got my viper this past spring and not many know me, I felt it was important to stand up for myself, and not have my reputation ruined. I have bought a number of mgw items from guys on the other site, and it's nice getting a good deal on a piece that looks new.

Allot of you know Peter, and none of you know me, I could have easily got banished from ever having the opportunity to buy/trade/sell here again. It seems every week or two I start searching for something else to buy, man I love checking the mail wondering if the new toy will be there.

Peter, I went into this deal with the intention of buying your rims. I should have just called you, maybe we could have straightened this out on the phone. I never imagined this would happen, I am a pretty private person and I did not enjoy this anymore than you, it is what it is, I guess.

All, at the end of the day, i'm just trying to get someone a perfect set of wheels for slightly less than they would pay for a new set. You essentially save $300-400 and get them without a wait... In the end, i'm willing to negotiate with anyone that is interested. Having said that, I will not give them away...

Also, thanks for all the PM's and email's showing me support. Just goes to show how the majority of you are a stand-up great bunch of guys!

Ooops... I meant to say $2,875, since that is the middle ground between $2,850 (What Inferno claims the deal was) and $2,900 (What you offered realizing the extra $$$ to ship to Canada). In other words, the middle ground.

I just got back in town and after preparing for this monster storm headed to Houston, I decided to check out the "Alley" only to find another storm in the works!! Sounds like things have gotten way out of control, but I have to speak my peace and stand up for Peter. I have known this guy for many years and have always found him to be a person of honesty and integrity. I have dealt with Peter on many levels and he is always extremely professional. He is also a very bright individual and very well liked by the Viper and Supra community. I personally credit Peter for getting our Houston Viper Club back on track. Regarding his wheels, I'm not going to debate what their worth, but I have seen and admired them many times and they look absolutely brand new. You can buy them with confidence.

Peter, having never met you or even directly talked to you prior to today I would like to tell you that you have another one here in your corner. I have posted many times here and read many posts involving you as well. At no time have I seen anywhere but positive things surrounding you and your cars. I don't want to personally attack anyone else in this thread because the dick swinging is getting old. Peter, I do think you have learned a very important lesson here. Never count your chickens before they've hatched. You shouldn't have jumped the gun and posted these things have been sold until you had a deposit at a minimum. I would buy these wheels in a second for every penny Peter is asking IF I was in the market for new wheels. No wait time. CHEAPER than new. And I don't give a flying fuck what you say. THE WHEELS ARE NEW, PERIOD. When you buy a brand new car Inferno, doesn't it have several miles on it already. Do you consider that used too. Maybe its easier for you to see the light now. I have already admitted I should have called instead of writing an email. I also admitted the "new asshole" comment was not necessary. Maybe you didn't read the thread, or maybe the loyalties to your friend blind you.

We AGREED on a price, it was RAISED after that. Do you get it now??? It was RAISED after we had a deal, AFTER he posted they were sold. He says he didn't know where I live, yet he talked to me the night before and I told him about the border being crossed and possible brokerage fees.

I was also slammed by him countless times. He even went as far as to post an email I sent. It was in reply to one he sent provoking me in the middle of all this. Then, he told you guys I am having an expensive marriage, and he was giving me a deal to help out, yes guys, he really cares about me and would not sell to anyone else for 2900. What is wrong with you guys, are you under some kind of magic spell?

He is willing to give out all kinds of personal info about me, after he fouls up a deal. He was scrambling here to try and save face. This "nice guy" would have done whatever it took to look good in front of you guys, at my expense. That is some real "stand up" stuff. I guess it's ok to squash one guy, as long as the rest of the group still likes me, right? These are all qualities of a great guy.....right.

This was my experience, whether you guys like it or not. If he is such a great guy, what has he done to correct this, other than slam me, and use all his friends here to puff out his chest and make himself feel better, in an effort to sell his rims.

I know this has turned into a Peter love fest, but he made mistakes here too, if you are too biased to see that, that is your problem. You have no right demanding an apology, and I don't know if you should be speaking for everybody here by saying; "we're waiting".
