Norwalk Picture Thread
I am posting just a few pics for now...will post more later tonight.
Lots of great people and cars this weekend. Too bad things didn't go well with the weather but all in all...it still was a good time.
I hope everyone got/gets home safe.
And in other personal news...
yes, I put 500 miles on my GTS this weekend and....(you may want to sit down with this one)....I drove it in the rain.
ok, enough with the poser car loosing its virginity, on with the 1/4 mile Viper cars...
I will let the car owners tell their own story (if they wish) on what happened but I can say a few broke, a few ran well but most everyone wanted to race more than a round or two. Some didn't even race at all.
This was the scene most of Saturday....lots of cars doing nothing and everyone just waiting and hoping for the rain to stop...

Re: Norwalk Picture Thread
The Viper tent early Saturaday. Quite a few cars came in despite the rain. I would guess 10+ more Vipers came in that are not in this shot.

(I will most more pics later along with a few stories)

So the record breaking runs are going to happen in December, eh? So far, that's what I'm getting. I just can't wait. :thumb:

Re: Norwalk Picture Thread
Two of these "copperheads" came in on Saturday.
I really was not sold on them with the pics posted here but when you see one first hand...they are very nice looking.

(The transport had a nice bumble bee GTS in it but it didn't come out to play due to the weather)

Re: Norwalk Picture Thread
Looks like yellowstain is using one of those compact, barrel shaped, liquid to air IC's.I've been wondering how well those perform. His setup looks very clean. And four nitrous bottles in the trunk!

The photos don't show all the power. I was told that the door panels came off and another 6 smaller bottles were hooked to both the 3rd and 4th stage.

Brian, 2many
Just found out that was jellow strains car and I would guess that is his 8 sec. build. With only a few months until the next show down he will have the needed time to dial in all the bottles with the assisted TT to capture the 8 sec crown or at least that is what I am told.
TT and gas, why? why do jets have after burners I guess. Could that have been his car show set up?

Re: Norwalk Picture Thread
That yellow car had a ton of shit on it, but was actually a clean install. The engine bay is full of piping. It makes my single turbo install look easy.
There are two air/water IC's. There is one below the top one. Both are the cylinder style IC's.

Thank you Toby for your hospitality and for being the chauffeur for the entire weekend.
Also for your outstanding pictorial for those you did not go or for those who cut out early.
It was a spectacular day on Sunday.
It is off to the farm for the Cudaman
