Is there a fix for headlight/hood abrasion?

Here is a pic of the headlight rubbing the hood and chipping the paint off.
I have had hood adjusted about as far as possible without going above the front bumper.
Is there a way to lower the light or any other prevention for the paint damage?
Thanks for any help

The trick is not to adjust the hood to fit the headlight. The hood controls, the fascia matches the hood, then the headlight is centered in the hole by means of shims.

Mine is way the hell out of whack, too. Didn't realize the fascia could be repositioned.

Once you start messing w/ all of the alignment, you are probably in for some fun. Be patient. When you get one thing right, 3 others are wrong. Mine still isn't 100%, but I am not that patient (or skilled)

my hood was rubbing on the headlight as well, yet the gaps were OK. Took the nose off, the headlights are shimmed up quite a bit, removed some shims and lowered the headlight slightly, things have been fine since
