Out with the 820HP Supra In with the 450HP Viper!!!

Well finally, I've been waiting for years to finally get a Viper and today I bought a red 1997 GTS with 5,000 miles!!! It has aftermarket exhaust and intake, also short shifter, red with black leather. I've owned Twin / Single turbo Supras since 1996 but deep down I've always wanted the Viper GTS. After seeing my buddy Toms SRT10 make near 700RWHP on 93 octane nonetheless, I stepped up and sold off the Supra. Today I paid for the GTS and should have it by the end of the week, pics will be up shortly.

700rwhp on Pump gas is easy with Vipers these days. If you get the Viper Mod addiction, you will be amazed at what power can be obtained if your addiction is strong enough!

thanks guys.. I did them myself, I used to own a Supra speed shop and dyno center here in Oviedo, we were known for building Hulk Hogans green Supra. Yea I would like more info on the twin turbo kit from Heffner. The Roe blower looks tempting but turbos would probably make the car quicker. WHats the price tag on the Heffner DIY kit? Any Info?

Yes it was Nicks car but he was only 12 when we built it for him, I never seen nich drive the car at 12 but I was told he did.

Joe is a Porsche/Supra tuner in Sarasota he built Paul Azinger's(golfer) Supra.

ah so u bought the one off ebay...there was a post on the other viper board of someone that went to look at it...said all the wheels were curbed and the fascia was pretty scratched up...

might not be the same one, but good luck anyways!

Its funny you mentioned that car as I was the first guy to bid and win it but I backed out so the owner relisted it. I found another 5,000 mile red 97 GTS and bought that one, I forgot to shut down my Ebay Sniping software so I wound up winning the Ebay Viper too but I was able to get out of it with no negative feedback. I think nearly all Vipers have the lower fascia scuffs but the viper I got has no curb rash on any wheel, its a clean one.

Welcome Adam. I believe I bought 264 cams from you a couple of years ago if you're AdrockTT from Supra Forums, which was a very smooth transaction (Thank you! ).

In case there is any question on who should do your TT setup, Heffner is the way to go! :thumb: Yes I'm biased, but biased towards the right tuner!
