Jesel 1.75 rollers on SRT?

Anybody go with something other than the 1.7 ratio that everyone seems to stay with? Any problems with 1.75s using stronger springs?

Does anyone know the downside of higher ratio rockers? Is it because you have to use stronger springs? Does this hurt the valves? Otherwise, why doesn't everyone do it?

you have to use a valve cover spacer to run adjustable rockerarms on the gen 3's. the stock ratio is 1.75 so there is not much to be gained by going with a jesel or td setup unless you are running a bigger cam with head work, etc.

1.75 stock? first I've heard that ... I've heard they were listed as 1.7, but actually more like 1.65 ... but I'd never heard they were 1.75. Seems like lots of folks have put on T&D 1.7s ... does this mean they went lower?

Most people running with rockerarm upgrades have Gen 1 and Gen 2 Vipers. There may be some out there with them on Gen 3's but not very many as far as I know. FYI, the last Venom 650R we built on a 2003 Viper SRT10 made 635 rear wheel hp and did that with the stock 1.75 rocker arms... If you are looking to do some bolt ons to your car, then I would suggest exhaust, headers, cold air kit, throttle body, flywheel, 3.55 gear or any combination of these items. We finished a Venom 550 SRT10 for a local customer who is a former Air Force One pilot about a month ago. His car made 486 rw hp with the bolt-ons I just listed - about a 40 rear wheel hp gain.

Well, I guess I'm on the way ... I've already got a 3" exhaust, K&N kit and 3.45 rear gears ...
