stock '02 GTS rims vs. ACR BBS, which are lighter, which are stronger

I've been toying with picking up a set of ACR BBS rims, I think they make the car look a ton better. But someone told me the stock GTS rims are much more stronger and lighter than the ACR rims. Is this true? They stated the ACR rims were made for the Viper by BBS and they purposefully made them heavier and a bit more bulky.

As far as I know....the BBS wheels were the lightest wheels to appear on a Viper.

The BBS wheels are 1 piece forged aluminum and are lighter and stronger.

Agreed.

You got bad info..... The OEM ACR rim is the best rim I have ever seen/used for the Viper. And I've tried them all.... Although the $8500 dealer price (not including tires) seems a 'little' steep.
