J DAWG.... YES IT WILL FIT BUT U WILL LOSE HORSEPOWER AND TORQUE.I TESTED A PORTED GEN 3 INTAKE ON GEN 2 MOTOR ONLY AND FOUND DIMINISHING RETURNS.

Probably a combination of runner length and plenum volume. Just by looking at it, the Gen3 setup has less of each. But, it makes for a tidier unit.

Does anyone know how much a gen III intake costs? I wonder if Dodge changed it to work better with the 500 ci engine, shorter runners = less torque but more top end air flow, the longer stroke would make more torque for a slight trade off. The gen I & II intake was \ is a link in the chain that needs to be opened.
