Wrecked Yellow SC Viper @ PIR?

I was reading up on Supra forums in the West coast section about a Super Charged Yellow Viper that smashed into the wall at the 1/8 mile at Portland International Raceway this last Saturday. I did a quick search and didn't see anything. Anybody know of this car? I've seen one Yellow Viper here.

I didnt make it out there this weekend with my own Viper but do have many of my customers there each night quite often. None of them pinged me yet indicating this accident took place. There are several yellow Gen 2's on the Portland side of the river, so i will be curious to find out who it was. I dont know anyone with an blower on it, though.

From what others posted. I'm guessing it was a big deal with the track announcer speaking out that the driver was ok and all.

Yea, it's true. The guy lives in Amboy i believe, and i happened to make a quick run over to Burger King when it happened. Followed the fire truck back to PIR and i couldn't tell what car had wrecked but i was wondering what happened to that beautiful Viper i had been drooling over earlier had gone.
My brother told me he lost it in 3rd gear i think, and hit it sideways. His first run of the night he got squirrly in 3rd gear, and he had to let off.
I feel so bad for the guy cuz i always saw him in town and at Les Schwab and just every week.
Best of luck to him and it can only get better.

very sad. What ET/traps was he running beforehand? I dont think I've seen this guy around before.

Are you going to make it out to the Ground Zero Motorsports dyno day on the 13th? It's only $35 for 3 runs and we're going to have a BBQ and all. Should be alot of NWNissan guys out there.

I think he was running a 12 flat or low 12's. Seemed as though he could never really hook up.
