Another Heffner twin-turbo was born last week, and I just wanted to say thanks to Jason and his crew for the quick turnaround, the great communication on what was going on, and of course most especially on the finished product. I remember well maybe 2 years ago when we were all going gaga over 800 rwhp blower cars, and the fact that 1,000+ rwhp/rwtq turbo cars are now not unusual is truly amazing. But what's really amazing is how they drive--if you haven't been in a turbo Viper, you owe it to yourself to find a way to hook up with a tuner or owner and go for a ride. I thought my 860 rwhp blower car was fast, and I guess by most reference points it was, but compared to what the car feels like now it was sloooow. The only thing I can compare the thrust to is a jet taking off, and the really scary thing is I have yet to flip the switch to high boost! With the AEM the car idles and drives like a stocker around town, if not more smoothly--it is truly the best of all worlds. Thanks again to Jason and the gang at Heffner Performance!

Yeah, I thought I had a ride set up in Krazy's SRT twin turbo but then he sold it to Gary. Guess I have to road trip down to Georgia now and see if Gary will give me a ride!!
I remember Jason taking me for my first ride in one at BG last year and it was unreal the power these cars make while being so quiet. A real silent killer. :thumb: Sounds like the AEM is becoming commonplace and a real asset to any modified Viper. This Vec2 may have to go as my need for power rises.
ps - give us some details on the car. Didn't you already have some internal changes done. What kinda power is it capable of now. I am getting jealous of you guys.

I have mildly ported heads (Roe Racing), forged pistons, a Comp cam that probably isn't helping much if any because it was spec'd out for a blower rather than turbos, upgraded lifters and pushrods, and the rest of the engine is stock. I do have T&D rockers and 70mm t/b's. I don't have the dyno sheet in front of me but it was a little under 1,000 rhwp and around 1,050 rwtq. It was tuned on mostly 93 and 3-4 gallons of race gas, and I may investigate advancing the timing/boost once I switch over to all race fuel. Although getting the power/torque I already have to the ground is a serious challenge now at any speed under 100. :thumb:
