Need a little guidance with this, Paxton Supercharger...

Would simply bolting on a Paxton be to much for a stock V-10? What modifications would be necessary to maintain it's reliabilty, if any? I'm new to Viper Alley and forums in general, but was hoping to get some positive feedback. Thank you for any time and or consideration...

Yes the Paxton kit, it's getting bolted onto an 04 SRT-10 with Corsa exhaust and 3.55:1 gears. Just want to make sure when it's installed it doesnt cause a massive failure...

Use common sense. I've been told the instructions from Paxton omit important steps like draining your oil BEFORE starting the car, after you've tapped for the oil line... however they do tell you to run it for awhile, THEN drain the oil. Scary.

From what I've heard, the Paxton kit for the SRT is much more sorted out than the Gen. II kit, but I'd still have the install done by someone who has installed them before if at all possible.
