I've noticed several ads for a place called Racing Solutions in the Dupont Registry stating that they have the worlds fastest Viper, but I have not noticed them being even mentioned on this site, unless they go by another name here. What is the scoop? Are they really the fastest or the most full of sh$t?

they held a few records for a while including quickest 6speed viper at 9.45. but i cant think of a single category where they hold any viper records for et or trap speed in the 1/4 mile or any other viper speed record of any kind. not sure why they would continue to advertise something that is not true. they have updated their ad a few times since their old records have been broken so they know that their claim is not true.
call them up and maybe they can enlighten you on the specifics of their claim. it will probably be some sort of a "world's quickest on 87 octane fuel on pirelli tires with 40 psi tire pressure on a green with yellow stripes viper".
RSI is still in the hunt but like said fastest is a bit old. They do most all builds and do stand behind their work. They have built several TT that have been sent to Mexico, one in Qatar (sp) and plenty around the country. Their fastest was before the TT showed up on the radar to be unbeatable. They built 2 cars with nitrous that ran 9.45 1/4 mile runs. At the time they did the 9.45 it was fast but now it is just another viper.
RSI is building one TT that should compete with the big dogs but will not be ready for any race in the near future. Check out the web site if you want to learn more about RSI.
as Rodney Queen a person that we all know, has more names than the "name your new baby" book has said the record could be one of many different et's etc. In the Viper world we have fastest first, fastest 6 speed, fastest auto, fastest all motor, fastest nitrous, fastest TT, fastest blower, fastest on flat tires, fastest of truck tires, fastest on slicks, fastest RT, fastest GTS plus 25 other fastest and then we go into the first category. First to run a 9.25 at 10am on Sunday 6 hours after it rained, First to run the day after the big storm etc, etc.
Don't mean to hijack the thread but I was curious about your NSX and saw a thread with pictures of it, VERY NICE ride (and this coming from someone that is not a huge fan of NSX's), love the wheels too (had them on a previous Supra and loved them). Quite possibly the best looking NSX I have seen
Any HP numbers yet? Built bottom end?

and I am proud to have had my car be the first at something and survive. It doesn't matter that it drives sideways, the lights point far left and right because I still own a Viper right?
