Didn't want to post this video... Didn't think it was that great of a run but here it is anyway as DR. ROOF insisted.. "This run" We took the car out to Rockingham two weeks ago on a test n tune night... No VHT treatment... And nice humid weather.. No 25 people to help us get it down the track "CHAD" We did not get there until late Saturday night so we didn't get but 2 runs in. SVS sent us some wheels and slicks to try and help us hook Roofs car. :thumb: They didn't help that much on the passes we made because of poor track prep or should I say no track prep. When I launched the viper it spun all the way through first even lifting and patting the peddle all the way through, second was a little better but still had to hold 1/2 throttle or so..When I got that bitch in 3rd it was gone.... When I got to the end of the 1/4 probably a second before I lifted off the throttle hearing what I thought was tire rub.. I think i even was on the brakes before the end. The 60ft was a 1.59 and its in the 130s in the 1/8. We let some tire pressure out the second run and just went up in smoke... We have made two attempts to get back to the track and we were rained out both times. We are going to attempt to go this weekend. Here is the video.. web page

very nice... love that pop right before you go... its like your cracking the whip then OFF.. fuckin gone. impressive... be sure and post videos of what it can REALLY do, since its easy to see there that its got quicker ETs in it.

Couple things to clear up only since you brought them up, again, and on this thread. Jason and I took the car to Atco when it was finished and ran a 9.0 at 166 on the second pass the car ever made. No giant team. No special day or track. No owner so scared of his own car that he has someone else drive. Just Jason and me driving on the second pass.
As I have said 3 times now, very nice pass. You should be proud. I am both impressed and really surprised anybody ran an 8 or broke 160. My hat's off to you guys.

Typically its a rich condition, fuel dumps into the exhaust then ignites. I didn't hear a 2 step, so that takes that out of the equation. Only other thing would be if he smacked the rev limiter at launch.
