any GTS owners here ever race a 911 twin turbo?

Just wondering if our GTS's were faster than the Porsche twin turbos . Wanted to hear some kill stories

raced few non X50 not even close viper was stock at that time ! and cousin used to own a X50 911 with Roock Sport Exhaust System & filters ! we raced many times he didn't win any ! bad day for the Porsche ? strong stock viper ? or just my driving who knows

Basically Stock GTS VS x-50 996TT

Have raced many 911 TT's, stock the viper(properly driven) will pull 2-3 car lengths by top of 3rd. Minor mods the 911 will be the faster car due to boost.

Never race one stock, but with full exhaust, I have raced a few times and always pulled away significantly.

Minor mods to a Viper will really put the 911 a LOOONNNG way back!

Me from another post:

..."Raced with a 911 turbo a few days ago. What a great race that was! We did 3 50-150 roll ons. Stock for stock. He pulled about half car length from 50-100, It was really even between 100-120, 120 to 150 I started to walk away. By 150 his front bumper was about my rear bumper. The guy and I stopped and talk for about an hour. Very cool guy. He said he just had the X50 package installed. I didn't know what that was so I asked. Said it bumped to power upto 450hp..."

Porsche makes a nice Turbo, the 97 TT was my fav until I discovered the Viper.
If I ever have 2 fast cars again that will be one of them. Very nice in the
corners.
